Going for a colposcopy on Monday .... any advice?

I heard someone say that it was a good idea to take pain killers before hand and that it is best to take someone with you ... is that the case? My dp will be working so I am on my own ... do you just need someone for moral support or will I feel dodgy?

dont know about impressive bodiddly - pain in the arse!

You will be ok I am sure - my results normally take about 3 weeks to come through.

There is normally a 'cheesey' picture on the ceiling that you can look at whilst you are lay down
