Hi. I had a lower dental implant done three weeks ago - just the metal post not the crown yet. Had precautionary antibiotics after. Followed hygiene advice etc. Non smoker don’t drink booze.
It doesn’t hurt at all but it pulsates intermittently, especially when lying down, which I’m told is normal as it integrates into the bone. Feel fine in myself, no temp. BUT, I’ve noticed a yellowy liquid that is thicker than saliva on the top of the post. I can swill it away but it does come back. That’s infection isn’t it? 😰 feel so sad at the thought of it being infected, I’m so over it all. Hoping someone has some experience. Thanks.
