Tingling sensation on face

Had anyone experienced this and got to the bottom of what it is?

I have had ongoing tingling what comes and goes in my face over the past year. It’s stopped for a long while and started up again. There’s no numbness just a general light creeping prickly sensation on my cheeks and around my mouth.

ive read it could be vitamin deficiency so having bloods next week. I also have autoimmune issues and have had tingling sensations in my feet for years because of this so it may be connected to that,

I’m also mid forties so could be hormonal fluctuations. So odd and discomforting. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have regular tingling on the side of my face which my consultant says iis one of my migraine symptoms. There are other reasons for it though which were discounted eg Bell's palsy, neuralgia.

If it continues it might be worth getting it checked out.

Low b12 can cause this. Low calcium can cause paresthesia too.

Go to your doctor or dentist.

It could be a number of things.

Mine's migraine related as well, but it's only one side (hemiplegic migraine).

Presuming it's your GP who ordered the blood tests, do they have any ideas? I was referred to neurology and it was them who diagnosed the migraines.

Mine was vitamin deficiency related.
