I know kids are fickle but this topic has been a bone of contention since my 7 year old starting brushing her gums!!! She cannot stand the taste of mint. Asking her to brush her teeth is like asking her to mutilate herself! Anyway eventually?I managed to get her to use Boots Strawberry Tooth gel. This is designed for milk teeth, which were great, but now she has 8 adult teeth, they have also discontinued it. I bought Tom Maine organic strawberry toothpaste and mixed it in with the remainder of the Shark Gel, bedlam! Any advice anyone, tried pinning her down so that is no good. She is a good kid and not the dramatic one out of my two little angels but I am getting more and more worried about her teeth. Does anyone know of strawberry mild toothpaste out there which is appropriate for adult teeth and has no mint or even a hint of mint. Please help J L

Seven may be too old, but Savers sell Punch and Judy toothpaste, which my DD-6 favours. It's definitely not minty.

MOrrisons do a Strawberry flavour children's toothpaste which might be worth trying. If it's too young for her, could you perhaps suppliment it with a mouth wash until you find an adult one that she will accept?

second time I have posted this today(should I ask company for comision)
I had this trouble with ds. he hates mint(he is 16 now) so I found Kingfisher fennel toothpaste. you can get it in holland and barret and some other health shops. it is very mild tasting.
