Pulling feeling in lower abdomen when exercising

Hello. I started exercising back in September and I have been experiencing a pulling feeling in my lower abdomen, near my womb when I do a lateral leg raise. It only happens on one side - when I lie on my right and raise my left leg. If I do a couple of leg raises it then eases and isn't painful but the first couple are quite sharp through my lower abdomen. Has anybody else experienced this? I have had an ultrasound on my womb recently and nothing was found. I'm wondering if this is a pelvic floor issue or something is pressing on a nerve. I'm seeing a physio but it doesn't seem to be doing much despite exercises. Has anybody else got any experience of this? I don't get pain any other time :)

Does it hurt or is it just tight? Have you given birth?

Try an osteopath/chiropractor.

@NosyJosie thanks for commenting.

Yes I have given birth - have 2 little ones. Youngest is 3. Because I've just returned to exercise in the last 4 months I have no idea if this has been there since my youngest was born or not!

I have tried a chiro and to no avail. I have am also seeing a physio but everyone seems a bit stumped!

C-section? Might be adhesions.

Didn't have a c-section either time so can't be that.
