As it’s the weekend and my brain is spiraling, I’m hoping someone might have experienced this.
Two weeks ago I woke up with pelvic pain, behind my pubic bone which feels like heavy aching pressure. I have an awful feeling inside my vagina but can’t place exactly where it’s coming from, it reminds me of the urge to bear down in labour. I was also peeing lots.
Called gp who said likely UTI, told me to visit the pharmacy for antibiotics. 3 day course didn’t make any difference, so I called GP again who prescribed a new antibiotic for 7 days. These ones stopped the urgency and the pressure reduced a little bit, but on Friday evening the pain came back with a vengeance.
I’ve used a home UTI kit which shows no nitrates but very positive leukocytes.
My concern is it’s clearly not a UTI and I’ve never had this pressure pain with any others in my life, I’ve also lost my appetite, so my brain is telling me it must be cancer.
