Abortion recovery query

Hi everyone .
I will trigger warning this and would like not to be judged :(
I had a surgical abortion 48 hours ago - I was 11+3 days .
I’ve had moderate bleeding since - I’ve been in bed for 7 hours and when I stood up I lost blood and a clot the size of half a lime- it was definitely a clot and not tissue.
I panicked and rang the hospital ward - she didn’t seem to concerned and said to get up and potter about so the blood doesn’t pool and cause clots which is obviously distressing for me . She also said if the bleeding gets worse or I’m passing alot of clots I’m to call them back .
I feel scared to get up and walk around incase it happens again , I feel safe laid down as no bloods coming out - I sound pathetic because I’ve had 3 children before and dealt with the bleeding fine but for some reason I feel very panicked and worried about this .
any advice or reassurance from anyone else who has experienced this would be greatly appreciated x

You don't sound pathetic OP that sounds really scary, walk about when you can but resting also sounds very sensible (maybe just prepare that there might be a fall of blood when you do get up) please call the hospital back if you don't feel right or if you have concerns

And of course no judgement OP 💐

I think it’s best to keep active. Would short bursts of time spent sitting the the toilet help expel some of the heavy bleeding?

How's the bleeding now? Of course clots are super scary I get that, and when you've had a procedure which isn't pleasant at all :(

Touch wood things seem ok atm- I’ve been pottering and resting in equal amounts and I’m going to brave washing my hair . My hormones seem to have dropped massively today so I’m abit tearful :( thanks for checking in love I appreciate it xxx

Zero judgement here OP. Hope you are ok and have some RL suppot or counselling lined up. This is a horrible thing to have to go through.
