Has anyone had this and if so, how was it treated/what was the outcome?
DH was in agony the other day and A&E said it was a kidney stone, gave him painkillers and sent him packing.
They rang him the next day to say that the review of the xrays shows that he has an enlarged appendix and so he'll need a CT scan. Appointment letter arrived this morning and he's booked in for a CT scan of his abdomen as expected and his lungs, which was not expected. Googling enlarged appendix and lung scans is terrifying. So I guess I'm looking for some reassurance.
