Damaged Optic Nerve - headaches?

I've been told by my optician at a routine check that I have a damaged Optic Nerve. Has anyone else had this, and what was the outcome? Not sure what to expect.

Getting headaches every day, but not sure if that's psycosematic.

Just the one eye, no idea if it was swollen.

Have they said how they’ll follow it up?

I had a thing where I had too much fluid around the eyes causing pressure to the optical discs. But I think that tends to affect both eyes.

That could mean a lot of things OP. Have they referred you?

Sorry, probably a different thing.

Hi OP

Friends DH had this and had urgent hospital referral. Was this done in your case?

Don’t know if your optician thought maybe it happened a while ago and no point in further action, but I think it would be a good thing to find out if there are treatment options.
