DP had an MRI for double vision.
No other symptoms. Maybe some fatigue, but everyone's tired these days?
20 days later hospital doctor called and said the above. A 2cm mass was detected in the right hemisphere. They aren't a neurology department. They can't diagnose. They don't know what it is.

Appointment later this week with neurosurgeon at another hospital with a specialist neurology department. They will inject dye & do another MRI.

He's 47. Healthy. Healthy lifestyle. 26 BMI. Active. Non-smoker (social in youth). Light drinker. Vegetarian.

Not told anyone yet.

All you can do is wait and see what the scan shows I’m afraid. A mass is another word for tumour but there are benign ‘tumours’ / masses. No point speculating until they have done an MRI. Good luck ! Much love xx

Thanks.

Been googling all possible outcomes.

There are so many types it could be.

I hope the appointment later this week goes well and you get positive news. Sending love ❤️

Thanks.

It's so isolating all these thoughts in my head & no one to talk to.

I think I need to write it down to make sense of it all.

So many directions from here...

Trying to find best case scenarios which seems to be watch and wait but that will just be a cloud over us forever.

Later this week you'll get answers and the doctors will tell you what happens next

Don't google. There are all sorts of things it could be. Googling isn't going to help. I'm sorry there'll be lots of worry and waiting for tests. But they'll be moving as quickly as they can.
