Hello, hoping someone who has some knowledge on this can reassure me . I've had my b12 results and it's sky high 4000 ng/L (injections every 6 weeks). Last year it was 2300 without injections for 6 months. My folate is borderline line low. My doctor has told me to stop having them? Couple years ago my b12 was 173ng/L but still in range. The injections make me feel better and I can tell when I'm due them. Not sure what to do?.

What was the time between get the blood test and your last injection? I once had a nurse give me an injection and then a blood test straight away. Sky high results

Thank you for replying, my last injection was late December. I've had them for every 4-6 weeks for around 10 months now. My doctor said it's up to me if I wanted to pay private but it's a waste of money. Originally my results was very low a couple of years ago, and looking at previous years they always have been borderline low.

I had a full blood test of everything last year including the one for this, it came back normal. I'm not sure if I am but I think I will investigate it xx
