Tooth extraction immediate dentures

I had several teeth removed in hospital last week ( upped”r & lower) and was given immediate partial dentures and retainers.
The lower denture won’t go back in and have been told to leave it out until the hospital can adjust it. Also been told to leave top one in but not to take our til Monday which will be nearly 3 days post surgery.
im worried about leaving it in that long in case of infection as all advice seems to say 24 hrs only but also concerned it won’t go back in.
I thought I’d prepared myself for the worst but this process has been far worse than expected.
Any advice anyone please? TIA

How do they feel ? I had an immediate partial denture after extractions and was told to take out later on before bed then cleaned and put back in next day

The denture needed a good clean!

@Nitgel thanks for your reply. The bottom one is still out as I would t go back in. The advice seems to vary depending on which dentist. 3 data seems too long to leave in without cleaning though 😩

It does. Could you get it out relatively easily ? If so I would clean it at least.
