Oramorph, has anyone taken it?

I was prescribed this today and I’ve never had it before. I take co-codamol on occasion for pain, the prescribed ones. But the pain is just awful at the moment. While I was at my weekly nurse appointment she could see I wasn’t my usual self and asked what pain relief I’m on. She said it’s clearly not enough and got the GP to do me some Oramorph.

I am going to take some at bedtime just a bit wary of it.

I hope you get some relief and rest. I also hope you get a better resolution. Keep fighting.
I’ve had eczema which has swelled and bled, split etc but I can’t imagine what you’re going through.

Thank you, they are going to up my dose of immunosuppressants again if my blood test results are okay which have helped before, I’ve just got to wait for the biopsy result and they are going to put me forward for funding for biologics.

I hope your eczema isn’t too bad at the moment.

Pemphigus?

As it turns out is phemigus foliaceus, the dermatologist phoned me this morning with the results of the biopsy I had done in January and I’ve got phemigus foliaceus so that puts a different spin on things. Need to get my head round it.

I have just had an operation where they opened my sternum. On oramorph but not doing anything for pain. So been moved to a stronger painkiller.
