I am probably being silly, but my ds always seems to have a lot of bruises - he is 18 mo and pretty clumsy (like me!) but i am sure he has more bruises than events that would cause them iykwim.
I know that lots of bruising can be a sign of leukaemia (sp?) and my uncle is currently fighting a rare form of it, and 2 of my dh's relatives died of it as children, so i think i am a bit paranoid. I just never seem to see any other kids his age with so many bruises!
Maybe i should just take him to the doctor..?

MY dc are covered in bruises especially on their legs and arms.
I wouldn't be too concerned TBH . HTH

Must admit that my ds (21 mths) doesn't seem to bruise that easily (tough as old boots like his mum) even though he is clumsy, but every child is different.

If you are really worried then just speak to your gp or hv, it will do no harm and will ease your concerns.

some people do bruise easily. if you're genuinely worried though and want to put your mind at rest take him to the dr or mention to hv. I think a sign of leukaemia is if bruises are coming up randomly (not entirely sure though). Mine are always covered in bruises, legs mainly.
