Hygienist

So I went to the hygienist on Monday for a good clean (that was what o wanted)

I have a private Bupa cover from work
I haven't seen hygienist in a very long time but my teeth is in very good condition as I saw a dentist last week Friday and that was his comment his stains from tea and coffee

Sat in the chair and told the lady hygienist that I have very sensitive teeth especially to ice and cold drinks.

1st the water she was using was very cold ( I have gone to the hygienist several times before and never have had cold water used)

2nd she said she can't do all the cleaning as it would take 2 hours to remove all stains and that I would need to come back in about 3 months time to have more of stains removed,

I have never heard that before anyone heard of this before or had similar experience

Thinking back now, I am like it's bad customer service and it is as if she intentionally used cold water

Mine uses cold water so I don't have it done with water - she does mine by hand (scale/scrape thing) as I can't tolerate the water

If you've not seen a hygienist in a while then stain removal can take longer. I use white glo toothpaste probably once a month which shifts stains really well

Best thing you can do is go back and explain what you were hoping for?

I don't see the 3 months wait though because stuff would have built up again?

A hygienist usually deals with plaque build up mostly, do they not? Rather than stains? As for the cold water (my teeth sympathised)... they usually have the assistant do this and shouldn't be too much?
Is there anywhere else you could go?

I hope someone who maybe works in this can come along with better information
