Gallbladder pain no gallbladder

Has anyone experienced pain even though you have had your gallbladder removed? I had mine removed 7 years ago and haven't had any issues but last week had an "attack" similar to when I had the stones and now have constant dull pain in that area. It doesn't seem related to food or anything specific. Unsure what my next steps should be and disappointed it's rearing it's ugly head again!

I work in this area but also had my gallbladder out about 9 years ago. You can get stones in your bile duct if it still remains, but it's uncommon. Pancreatitis can have similar symptoms too. Speak to your GP and they might be able to get you assessed by the surgical team, we can bypass A&E at my hospital and GP refers straight to assessment unit.

Thank you. I don't know what it is now as I also have pain down one arm. I think I will go to the GP. Thank you and sorry you had to have yours out too!
