THRREADWORMS - Can you get medicine over the counter to treat it ?

Believe that my youngest may have threadworms - itchy bottom at night , haven't seen anything in his stools .

I know that the whole family will have to be treated but can I get stuff over the counter for us all or do I have to trawl to the GP ( whenever I can get an appointment ! )

Any other advice aswell please

yes, you can get Ovex over the counter. They do a family pack of tablets and also a bottle of syrup - get both if possible, tablets for you and syrup for the kids. And I would treat again in 2 weeks' time, just to make sure they're gone for good.
