will dd's grommets op get cancelled as she has a cough?

dd was ill a couple of weeks ago but we can't seem to shift 'the cough' - we all have it in the family and it sounds awful. Both dd's also woke up this morning with blobby eyes which I have treated with breastmilk.

Dd is scheduled for her grommets to be put in on Friday - we have waited months and months but it will probably be cancelled now won't it?

I think you'll have to ring the ward she's being admitted to and ask their advice. I had to do this just before DD's op recently, but that was about a snotty nose rather than a cough.
We were able to go ahead and once she had recovered from the anaesthetic DD was fine.
