Smelly ear

Hi , for the last few years I’ve had problems with one of my ears and was diagnosed with TMJ by and ENT Dr
However over the last few days I’ve noticed a smell , I will be seeing a Dr but has anyone else had a smelly inner ear without pain ?

sounds like a middle ear infection @Jellycat70 ?

I am not a medical professional though.
