I had a blood test on Friday ahead of some minor surgery I’m due to have. I’ve just received a notification that the results are abnormal. I’ve had a look and the only thing showing as abnormal are my eosinophils which are high at 4.3. Does anyone know what this means?
According to Google this can be as a result of hayfever which I do suffer from, though not at this time of the year! Could it be that? Don’t want to do too much googling, cos I’ve already seen that it could also mean all sorts of horrible things including leukaemia! I’d be grateful for any help. Will obviously call the doctor tomorrow but it’s annoying being told this on a Sunday when there is no one to contact about it!
