Constant pain down below & lower back pain!

Hey I'm new here :)
After months of constant pain, doctor/hospital appointments, tests and scans I've found myself trying to partly self diagnose and just get some reassurance that it's not only me going through this what feels like 'Hell hole'
I've found mums net a little reassurance in the last so I thought I'd read up on here if anyone has had anything similar!
So.... it all started in September 2024 where I woke up suddenly with severe pain, needing to pee what felt like every 2minutes! Burning discomfort and blood in urine! I've never really had UTIs but this was my first thought.
anyway since then I've had constant pain down below (everyday with no let up) I've seen doctors who have done urine tests 3 of which over the time have shown ecoli infection (although clear at the doctors but then show infection when sent off) other than that all other urine tests have been clear despite the ongoing UTI symptoms!! I've been given what feels like every medication 'to try' and about 4 different courses of antibiotics but NOTHING is touching this!
3/4 times now the pain has been horrific where I'm passing blood in urine!
I've had-
Bladder Scan- clear
CT Scan- clear
ultrasound- clear
MRI- waiting on results! 🙏
since November I've had constant lower back pain which is always there and agony some days.
I'm wearing heat patches & have constant hot water bottles for both my back and down below!
I feel like I've hit a brick wall with the doctors and they have a way of making me feel like I am being a pain and that I just have to put up with it!
But we know our bodies and we know the pain and what's not rite.
im hoping and praying that someone mig by have some insight for me on here 🙏
it's effecting everything I usually do... and it just gets you so down both physically and mentally :(
I'm already trying the D-Mannose

TIA xx

Hi i had similar symptoms and was put on the 2 wk pathway because of blood in urine. I had a cystoscopy and Consultant advised D-Mannose which I doubled dose and chat with GP re HRT. and he was able to tell me bladder was ok. Had an abdominal/ kidney/ liver scan also. However I was diagnosed with NAFLD and trying to change my diet. I hope you get well soon

@Maidensauntie Thank you for your reply it's some what reassuring that there's others out there with similar symptoms/situations.
Did all your scans come back clear? How did they diagnose NAFLD?
All my scans have been clear so far 🙏
Also did you find the D-Mannose has helped? Would you mind saying which you're taking? I've had capsules and chews.

xx

I had over a year of similar. Finally fixed it with vaginal oestrogen.

Hi was had an abdominal scan kidney, liver and it came back with NAFLD diagnosis though GP stated that 18 out of 20 people have it .
i use the effervescent d-mannose from H&B .

Depends on your age but it sounds like vaginal atrophy caused by depleted hormones. None of the GPs at my surgery had a clue. Was sent to a gynaecologist who hadn’t a clue either (yep). Researched estrogen cream. Requested it. It’s changed my life x
