Hemorrhoid banding

Hello..yesterday at 12pm I had 4 bands placed for my pile issue, the pain was awful for around 12 hours but has very much subsided thank goodness! An hour ago I went to the toilet and had a BM but 2 of the little green bands came out with it, I’m really worried that this means it hasnt worked and i’ll have to go back..does anyone have any similar experience with this?

2 of mine came off first visit to the loo 30 minutes after being done whilst still in hospital . Told the nurse and she said that can happen and not to worry.

Oh wow ok thats reassuring thanks, can I ask what your symptoms were following the procedure? I’m not in pain anymore but I’ve to make sure i’m sat on the toilet every time I pass wind because quite a bit of blood comes out

Dr that did mine checked before he did it asking that I hadn't got much on for the next week or so as it could be very painful . Then suggested I keep up with the painkillers and drink lots of water and up my fibre to stop any constipation .
I did all as suggested , it was a few years ago now , and don't have any more problems .

Just spoke to a nurse where I had the procedure done she said all sounds fine 👍🏼 glad to hear you don’t have problems anymore
