Picolax - how long to take effect?

I'm having a colonoscopy tomorrow and so am doing my bowel prep today
Following instructions, I took my first dose of Picolax at 4pm. I did have a poo about 5pm but (sorry for TMI!) it was a very normal poo in texture and I haven't been today prior to taking the Picolax so didn't feel like it was a result of the Picolax, if that makes sense?
I'd been preparing myself for diarrhea and am now worrying that I won't be fully cleared out in time for my procedure at 2pm tomorrow. I have one more sachet to take at 8pm and another at 6am tomorrow.
Interested in others' experiences and timelines - when did it fully kick in for you?

IME nothing much happened after the first sachet. Thought it wasn't working. I was wrong!!! Take it as prescribed and don't move far from the loo. Good luck.

Things kicked at about 8.30pm. Hope it's all systems go now! I'm just worried that they won't be able to get a good look and I'll have to do this all over again.😔
I feel like I've been drinking all day but will top up again now

@Roundaboot glad its started to work are you normally constipated? It would be unusual for prep not to work

No, the opposite actually, hence the need for a colonoscopy!
