Headaches

Hi everyone. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for - reassurance maybe.
I started with a headache last Tuesday (so just over a week ago). It's varied between a sharp pounding headache to a dull throbbing and now it's just a very mild ache. Location has changed aswell from my forehead to the back of my head.
I have health anxiety and just lately I'd been doing so much better but this is really triggering me.
I had a phone consultation on Monday with a GP who prescribed stronger cocodamol and said she thought it could be tension, to get my eyes checked and do a blood pressure reading.
Had my eyes checked today. I need a new glasses prescription but there was nothing obvious causing a headache. He did suggest blood tests to rule out anything systemic. I even called into Boots for a BP check (133/91).
I'm 44 and take sertraline and gabapentin. Has anyone had similar and it just went away or should I be more concerned?? I'm having no other symptoms. I'm so worried it's something underlying and I know this will add to my headache. I just can't seem to relax.

Thanks for reading

Didn’t want to read and run but also don’t have much advice. Sounds like you’ve done all the right things. I’m quite a headache prone person and I get long headaches when: I’m ill (sometimes is can be the only obvious symptom but I’m just fighting a virus) or when I have tense neck and shoulders. Try doing a short neck and shoulder release video and see if that helps. Obviously check whether you are drinking enough water, your screen usage, how you’re sitting at your desk, whether you are stressed or tense about anything.

I hope you’re feeling a bit better by now.
I think cocodamol can cause very nasty constipation and that really can make you feel horrendous, including having awful headaches (IBS here, so this I do know about!) so maybe that’s something to look at?
I think when you’re awake at 1a.m. though, things usually seem worse- do you have any therapy to help with the anxiety? It’s not an easy thing to live with 😞
