Has anyone used this face wash before? I was having break outs on my chin area which was unusual for me so I thought I'd try this and it has reeeeeally helped with spots I think it's really good. I've been using it for a couple months now and spots cleared but just keep finding that every day I have black heads surfacing. I can feel bumps on my skin and its blackheads. Gross but am I using the face wash too often? I only use once a day. Google says something about purging but I thought that would have just been for the first few weeks. I have exfoliated my face once a week recently too which hasn't helped either but thought I'd try thatHmm

No, you’re not using it too much. If I could ask some clarifying questions..?

Why did you decide to use this only once per day?

What were you using to wash your face previously to this cleanser?

Do you have sensitive or reactive skin in general?

Do the small ‘blackhead’ bumps on your skin have a visible black head? Are they itchy at all, or anywhere else on your body?

What exfoliator are you using weekly?

Are you using SPF daily?

From your initial description my suggestion would be to switch out this cleanser for the Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating SA face wash. This contains salicylic acid which is great for clogged skin, as it can go inside the pore and dissolve the buildup and oil that is trapped.
