Advice appreciated

Been unwell since Thursday with what I think is the flu. The reason being is my 2.5 year old was diagnosed with the flu (via a hospital swab) at the start of the week so makes sense this is what I have. Main symptoms have been:
-fluctuating temp ranging from 37.5-38.9
-very bad, painful cough that coughs from being dry to coughing up yellow mucus
-random body aches
-insomnia
-some nausea
-occasional sharp pain lower left abdomen

This morning I woke up with all the above still but also a small bruise type mark on my arm (see pic attached). Not wanted to panic myself but should I be worried?

You should see a doctor, if only to put your mind at rest. You could have your son's flu, or covid. The mark on your arm may be unrelated, but best to get yourself checked out. All the best.

I called 111 this morning because I couldn't breathe with similar symptoms and was given an out of hours GP apt. I'm now on antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. Have a chat with someone. I went to my GP Thursday, but today I was actually so much worse that I felt frightened.
