Why do my feet hurt?

Do I just have old woman feet syndrome? I'm 52, wear trainers or comfortable boots with low heel. Have looked symptoms up online but can't seem to find an exact match.

Pain is on the balls of my feet, it almost feels like I have hard lumps there (but I don't). It comes and goes so not constant.

Anyone else had this and anything helped?

It's probably a variant of plantar fasciitis/or bone spurs ? I have something similar and being 2
And half stone overweight doesn't help my symptoms. Thank god for Hokas 🥲

It wasn't quite matching plantar fasciitis but will look up bone spurs. And Hokas!

Yes, the soles of my feet hurts. Almost like the fat pads have thinned? I walk a lot, and it was never a problem before. Only in the last year, weight makes no difference. I think it’s hormonal changes.

Could it be Morton's neuroma? I had a colleague who said that it felt like pebbles under the balls of her feet, and really painful.

Are you wearing proper trainers? Not sketchers or something unsupportive?

I'm 50, I hope this isn't just round the corner.

Are you overweight? My feet hurt a bit like that when I am overweight.

Have you tried some foot yoga? My yoga teacher says not enough attention is paid to our feet given they carry us around. You could start massaging them, rolling a tennis ball around with your foot, some gentle stretches and see if that helps (completely unscientific but can't hurt)o
