Farting

I am really struggling with farting, for the past two weeks it's non stop and so smelly. It's embarrassing. Worst thing is that I go ti the loo when I know gas needs passing but by the time I get there the urge is gone. Only to go back to my seat and I need to fart again.
I just don't know what's going on, nothing in my diet has changed. I take esomeprazole for my hiatus hernia that caused really bad reflux but that's not new either, I've been on it about a year.

It's getting exhausting, and I know it sounds ridiculous cos it's bloody farts but I just feel so self conscious and I feel like it lingers even if I pass gas in a different room (ie toilet). I do not want to be the person that farts in the office, or even just on the sofa at home. I've never had this problem before, I just went to the toilet, passed gas and got on with my day. Now it's constant EXCEPT when I go to the loo.

Any ideas anyone?

Embrace the farts? I can't imagine being bothered by farting on my own couch. Just let rip!

I have heard that activated charcoal is good for gas/bloating/digestive issues though. Worth a try. Can get it online or from Holland & Barrett

Charcoal underwear will help with the smell

Thank you both, it seems charcoal is the way to go.
I'll have a look at activated charcoal and the underwear.
I try to embrace the farts but also don't want to gas my family 😂
