Weird smell can anyone relate

So I doubt anyone else will have a clue what I'm talking about as I've googled so many times and nothing comes up. Basically when I'm near a source of heat eg heated blanket or hot water bottle or the room is warm I get this weird smell in my nose that I cannot describe but it smells like heat 😂 just interested to know if anyone has any idea what I'm talking about! Sometimes it stays for days and sometimes as soon as I go into fresh air or a steamy shower it goes away. It's just an annoying smell I hate it!

Go and see your Dr. You could have an infection, a vitamin deficiency or any number of things going on.

I can smell heat but it doesn't last for days

Not quite the same but I got a taste of petrol in the back of my mouth several years ago, it lasted for days and disappeared. Over the years I've had it a couple of times but not for a long time.
There is no explanation that I know of.

I can smell heat. But not all the time. And it guest last for days.
