Hi advice needed on Pentasa suppositories

Hi my DH has these suppositories and he just tried inserting one but it keeps coming back out even though we have pushed it in enough.. any advice to why this is happening ??? Any advice would help thanks x

When starting out with them I found I needed to lie down for a few minutes immediately post insertion and totally relax everything. After 10 or 15 minutes the urge to evacuate would be gone and I could get on with things. As I became more used to doing it and the sensations I found I didn't need to do this anymore. I think after that time the suppository would be starting to dissolve as well which might help.
