Melanoma

Hi, I’m in my 60s. This mark appeared on my hand about 6 months ago. I’ve now noticed it is getting bigger. Could this be a melanoma?

I am going to my doctor but getting an appointment is a nightmare

It's really hard to tell from that pic but doesn't immediately scream melanoma. However, you absolutely must get it checked. Say you are concerned it's cancer and take the earliest appointment you can get. Hopefully all is well!

It looks more like a cyst type of affair, but it's difficult to see on that pic.
