Constant fatigue / bloating / brainfog

Hi all - I am after some advice with some health issues I have been experiencing for some time. To start i have suffered with IBS for 8+ years, before having my daughter 3 years ago I suffered horrendously with loose stools straight after eating, now I’m the opposite and suffer with constipation and severe bloating. It doesnt seem to matter what I eat, when i eat or if i dont eat at all. I do still suffer with loose stools occasionally with severe pain which passes straight after. My dad had crohns disease and passed away from bowel cancer, I have informed my GP of this however they havent referred me for any further tests but did say i could have a colonoscopy if my symptoms change however they constantly are. Should I push for testing?

As well as this I have also been suffering from fatigue/exhaustion/brain fog, I could have 12hours sleep and still feel absolutely knackered in the morning, i’ve had bloods done a couple of times which comes back as slightly low vitamin D which I am taken supplements for however seen no improvement. I believe part of this is related to a deviated septum i need operating on over the next few months but if this doesnt solve it completely i dont know what else I can do. I am hoping to start exercising soon to see if improved but I literally have no energy to do anything most days. I also work part time and have a 3 year old which doesnt help but wondering if anyone has any advice on anything i could take/eat to help me?

apologies for the long post!
