What exactly does it look like?

I think my lo has it, but not sure as I dont know what it looks like.

do you mean conjunctivitis?
My dd had bright green goo at the inside corners of her eyes - when she woke up from a sleep her eyes were stuck together. It got so bad that her eyes went red and the skin arond her eyes became inflamed. Her eye lids got very heavy looking.
Use cooled boiled water to clean you lo's eyes - use new bits of cotton wool each time you wipe. If it desn't clear up on its own - go and see your GP
Hopefully your lo has just got crusty sleep or a bit of snot wiped into his/her eye?
