Top tips for giving up smoking : Have you tried hypnotherapy?

DH needs to stop and I'd like to hear how you gave up. I am looking into something other than nigotine patches or will power alone.

Dh and I were smokers. We were hypnotised. I was very dubious. Thinking, I don't believe in all this Paul McKenna nonsense.
One session. No cravings. Never looked back. Never fancied once since.

True about needing to want to quit if you do Alan Carr (as already said). I know a few people who tried Alan Carr, didn't finish the book (which you must do to be successful) then spent a lot of time sniping about the quality of his writing.

the book is really good, it makes sense, i've read it a few times. and seen the video. it makes perfect sense, but i think you need to read the book as much as you can.

Sotheastastra, she was recommended by my sil. Then both my bil and his wife and my other bil went to her.
We were all done 'good and proper'.
Then she went and moved to Devon.

The alan carr thing, since hes died, well the first chapter mentions how shit he felt smoking so many fags a day and the rest of the book explains how good it is to be in control of the weed. In interviews on TV he mentioned how good he felt and how he would have been dead years ago if he hadnt of stopped.
And bugger me if im gonna end up on a cancer ward i wanna be a non smoker. I DO NOT want to be "dying for a fag"
