Hi all, I think I posted about this a long time ago on an old account and I can't find it. I'm just about to turn 42 and definitely in peri menopause- additionally I've lost a lot of weight (deliberately) the past couple of years. Since I had DS2 (nearly 7), when I have ovulated I have had a dark brown egg white cervical mucus. I actually had a smear whilst it was going on last year or the year before and the nurse didn't seem terribly concerned. I have past history of high risk hpv but no mention of cell changes. I guess it's just playing on my mind a bit and wondered if anyone gets similar?

It's just old blood tissue clearing itself out. I had it and was told this but the nurse if I recall correctly.

Hi! I had this for a few months last year, except mine became more light pink/peachy colour. Freaked out, booked myself a smear (which was loooong overdue) and I was HPV negative 🤷‍♀️ No idea what causes it. I'm 41 and also wonder if it's peri...
It is happening again this month after a normal 6 months. My EWCM is clear but has little beige patches.
