Is there a bug going round?

1 year old boy and I had a sore throat and cough last week, this week his mum has had the same thing. However for the boy, he's since started vomiting and struggling to pass wind.

We've since stopped giving him milk as that seems to have triggered it. Is there a bug that can cause temporary lactose intolerance?

Bugs can definitely cause temporary lactose intolerance or at least a difficulty digesting
