Nerve compression

Hi all

I've seen a neuro for regular pins and needles in my 4th and 5th fingers. I'm awaiting a spinal mri but neuro believes jts all caused by nerve compression. I also have shoulder and neck pain. Alongside pain in my lower back that is tender/ feels bruised when touched. Has anyone else experienced this?

It's really painful today. I've got physio booked in the new year but it's so painful and making me so grumpy. If you've experienced a trapped nerve/nerve compression how long did it take to go? What worked for you?

Sounds like you have a compression of the Ulnar Nerve. It runs from the 4th and 5th digits around the outside of your elbow and then up to the neck and spine. It might be pinched at the elbow, shoulder or neck. If you look up Ulnar Nerve Glides on youtube and do the exercises every day, you might be able to free it up.

Also look at getting some PT on your neck to try and loosen that..its unlikely to be your lower back.

Thanks @SeaToSki I'll take a look at that on YouTube. Been suffering for 3 weeks so far and it's so miserable. I think I've caused an issue in my lower back in addition to my upper body. Weird because I can't think of a triggering factor! Thank you for your response and advice 😊
