DS's school have sugested it may be helpfull for DS.

I disagree.

Our GP doesn't want to prescribe (fine by me), but then he doesn't have a child in the same class as my DS!

My daughter is borderline ADD and we have just started her on fish oils. First week ever (she's in Yr 3) she has come home with a certificate for an improved attitude towards her work.I am a very proud mummy today.

Hi

can I also add a tip which I've found helps my child focus, concentrate and be calmer. A tab of zinc a day, and zinc rich foods, are really helpful -- people commented on a change in behaviour even when they didn't know what I'd been trying to effect.

I had to ask here about advice on dosage though, and about zinc rich foods. Eventually have settled on 15mg a day, but that's way above RDA which might put you off. The main side effect is nausea if the dose is too high. You are meant to give it at night because it can also make you sleepy ( a bonus possibly...)
