High prolactin

I was wondering if anyone has experience of high prolactin levels? I had some private bloods done and prolactin was 650. What could this mean?

There are several reasons for this, but you will need to see an endocrinologist for further tests.

I had very high prolactin, but in the end was diagnosed with something completely different, and the prolactin levels were just an anomaly! Please don't worry, but do get it checked out

I’ve had prolactin of 650. It’s a little higher than normal but it’s not really high. If it weee really high it would be thousands and thousands, if that reassures you.

Have you recently started any new medication?
