For a few days now I have had a dull left side abdominal pain which feels like a pinching pain.
When I bend, lean or stand up (if leaning into the stand) on this side the pinching pain becomes extreme and takes my breath away untill the pain goes.
Sometimes I think I can feel a lump and sometimes I can't.
It's located on the left side of my stomach about an inch or two below my ribs.
Could this be a hernia? Or something else?
It's a nightmare getting drs appointments where I live, I called yesterday and the receptionist berated me for calling so late in the day
I was at a funeral earlier in the day and couldn't step out to call.
I work 8-4.30 drs phone lines open at 8.30 and I get a 20 minute break somewhere between 10.30 and 11.30 so if there is a phone que I might not get through let alone get a call back when I am able to answer
I did an econsult yesterday so should get a call by the end of Monday so fingers crossed they can fit me in but it will be difficult around work as nobody will cover at this time of year
Iv had someone offer to cover a medical appointment recently and pulled out last moment so I had to miss it.
All I know is it can't be gallbladder related as I have had mine removed.
