My kid has this small red in his lower eye lid from September 2024. Its not painful. In the morning its small but as the day it gets bigger. I thought it will go on its own.

As its been there for months, We went to GP and was asked to give warm compress. I am doing that for a week now but i am not able to do that effectively as he keeps moving away. Today we were playing some letter games and he said the eye with Chalazion is blurry. I am too worried.

is it common for kids? I feel so guilty that i should have taken to GP sooner.

That looks quite big it may be pressing on his eye causing blurring.
Ask the gp for referrals to an eye clinic

Adding more pictures. The GP only suggested the warm compress.

That’s not going to go by itself.
tale him for an eye exam, we can refer for removal if it’s causing blurred vision.

I've no idea.. but yes take him back and get a referral.
I just wanted to say what gorgeous eyes he's got.. looks likes he's a right handsome little lad.

My DS had one on upper lid, was removed but was 2 yr wait from referral to op.
