Dull ache below ribs

I have this dull ache. It is quite "deep" up under my ribs on the right hand side.
Maybe 1-2 inches below where the Xyphoid process ends and 1-2 inches to the right of centre.
The area affected is maybe the size of a tennis ball.

It's not painful at all, more mildly irritating.
I feel like I need to stretch out. Usually when I do stretch, the pressure / tension goes.

I've had it for a few weeks now and I don't notice it for most of the day but every now and then it happens. I notice it more when I'm bent over a little, like when I'm driving or sitting at the kitchen table.

I remember I had a similar issue maybe 10 years ago and had tests (bloods, ultrasound, scope) and nothing was found.

I'd just love to know if anyone has the same, or knows what it could be?

I'm early 30s, BMI 20, not really a drinker, healthyish diet, had a baby 12 months ago.
No other symptoms I can think of.

You do realise that’s exactly where your gall bladder is, have you eaten any fatty food? Have you had a scan of your gallbladder?

I had not!

Hmm... dinner tonight was a roast chicken with veg and potatoes. Then some chocolate. So perhaps this has triggered it.

I think I'll keep a food diary to see if there's a pattern.

Thanks for this. No gall bladder issues in my family; not really something I'm familiar with so, I'll research further.
