Has anyone ever broken the bone in their fingertip? I crushed my fingertip at the weekend and it's really painful. It is barely bruised, not cut and my nail isn't very bruised. I thought I'd ask before I contact my doctor about it. I always thought breaks produce significant bruising and swelling so I don't want to waste anyone's time going to see a doctor about it
