I recently had a endoscopy after many years of acid reflux, worsened after having my gallbladder removed 8 years ago.
During the endoscopy they found a sliding hiatal hernia (I've been referred to a surgeon for this) Oesophagitis, Duodenitis and gastritis, all which can be explained quite clearly online.
However, the doctor revealed that i have a pancreatic rest (ectopic pancreas) which he took biopsies from. I have tried googling this issue and although I can find case studies, I am yet to find anyone with a first hand experience?
Has anyone else got this and did they have any issues? Require any surgery? Have any biopsies done?
I seem to be checking my nhs app constantly, waiting for my biopsy results and I'm getting a little impatient.
