Hi, I think I have been bitten by a spider on my second little toe. Monday or Tuesday evening. On Wednesday my foot was very itchy and was painful to walk on. Thursday evening the toe was swollen, purple and the top of the foot was swollen too. I called 111 and they prescribed a course of antibiotics.
I'm on my second day of taking them and I think my toe has swelled up more. Foot is less swollen taking ibuprofen now too. I have read that after a couple of days if no improvement I need to go back. 111 never said this. Anyone been in the same situation how long should I give it by either going back to my gp if appointment is available or minor injuries?
