Flu for 2 weeks

Has anyone else had a flu type virus? Started 11 days ago with horrendously sore throat, was not able to get out of bed for a few days - headache, chills, achy joints, tiredness, slight cough, achy back. Got a sick note for work this week but still struggling with tiredness, headache (especially come afternoon/evening) and wondering if I should stay off next week or part of next week but don't want to feel like I am taking the mick. Done LFTs which are all coming back negative for covid.

It's Wednesday morning. If you're still feeling shit on Sunday evening then yes probably stay home on Monday, but that's five days away. 2 weeks is a reasonable time to be unable to work after flu, especially if you have to commute or work on your feet.

Whatever this flu virus is, it seems to be brutal this year, I know of people who have struggled for 3/4 weeks
