Osteopathy for recurrent ear infections

RLG36 · 09/12/2024 20:49

My toddler is 22 months, and has had 5 ear infections in the last 4 months.
I have been told that an osteopath could help - does anyone have any experience of this.
Currently waiting for an NHS referral to ENT.
thank you

I've tried it with more than one child. It didn't work for us. I do use an osteopath for muscle pain though, and find it helpful for that.

Don’t waste your money. Seek a private opinion from an ENT instead.

You could try it whilst you wait for your referral date it might give some relief. Clearly not a story about a child, but I went to a osteopath for a neck problem and at same time I had bad sinuses and fuzzy ears. I my sinuses immediately cleared themselves (sorry for picture this creates) with fluid down my throat.

If you can afford it, give a go.

My relation who is a GP has had her toddler seeing the osteopath for ages.
