I had an abnormal smear which was had HPV and classed as a CGIN. I had a LLETZ under general surgery as the local anaesthetic didn't agree with me. Today the surgeon has sent me a letter that says the biopsy taken in surgery is clear, which is great news but also unexpected considering my abnormal smear. They will discuss at their team meeting in January and contact me about next steps..anyone else had this? I'm so confused and also paranoid that the sample wasn't enough!
