For the last few days, I've had pain, especially when pressing it, on the fleshy part of the palm of my hand (have added a picture). No idea what's caused it - it's a bit disconcerting. Don't want to bother the GP with this. Any ideas?

Carpal tunnel? That's where my hand hurts when it flares up.

I had this and it was how I was holding my hand while using the computer mouse. Switching to an upright ergonomic mouse sorted it and no problem since

Probably over exerted or strained a muscle or tendon or something. Physio or osteopath if it doesn’t ease with anti inflammatories and ice.
