Itching breast

Howlongdoesittake · 04/12/2024 19:09

My left breast has been itching for a
few weeks now just below the nipple. No lump or flakiness but a constant itch. Is it worth a GP visit or a call for a chat?

Definitely check it out

Yes, get it checked out. If neither you or they can feel a lump, they will only refer you after two weeks using a topical steroid cream - I’ve just been through this process, and been referred.

@WolfFoxHare thanks hope all is well with the follow up

Thanks - hopefully I’ll be seen relatively quickly but they did say it wouldn’t be an urgent referral because no lump. So the sooner you get the process started, the better.
